FormBuilder roadmap
We aim to become the preferred way for government to build forms by providing an All-of-Government (AoG) standard for simple online services by 2027.
We’ve come a long way since launching Business Connect in 2019, and we have ambitious plans for the next couple of years.
Faster onboarding
- 2019: 20 weeks to onboard an agency
- 2025: down to 10 weeks
- 2027 goal: all central agencies and crown entities onboarded.
Rapid form publishing
- 2019: 12 weeks to publish a form
- 2025: just 1 week to publish
- 2027 goal: same-day publishing.
Scaling up delivery
- 2019: 10 forms/year
- 2025: 300 forms/year
- 2027 goal: 2,500 forms/year.
Empowering users
- 2019: developers built every form
- 2025: users can build their own forms
- 2027 goal: 2,000 user-built forms.
We’re making it faster and easier for government to get online services up and running. The momentum’s building — and we’re excited about what’s next.
