FormBuilder roadmap

We aim to become the preferred way for government to build forms by providing an All-of-Government (AoG) standard for simple online services by 2027.

We’ve come a long way since we established Business Connect in 2019, and we have ambitious plans for the next couple of years.

When we started in 2019, it took 20 weeks to onboard a new agency. Now, in 2025, we have that down to 10 weeks. We aim to be able to onboard agencies in just 1 day by 2027.

The time it took to publish a form in 2019 was 12 weeks. We now have that down to 1 week, and we’re moving towards a same-day service to publish forms by 2027.

The number of forms we can deliver each year has dramatically increased. In 2019, we could publish only 10 forms a year, in 2025 we’re able to publish up to 300 forms, and we’re aiming to deliver 2,500 forms a year by 2027.

When FormBuilder began, we needed developers to build the forms. Now users can build their own forms. We’re aiming for up to 2,000 forms to be built by users by 2027.
